For the summer 2015 issue of the alumni magazine the main feature was about student creativity. I chose to present this wide variety of work with a design that had a collage feeling but I also wanted it to be relatively easy to navigate between each piece. This six-page feature helped our alumni, students, faculty and staff learn more about (and in many cases, see for the first time) St. Lawrence’s extensive campus renovations, including an impressive new residence for students, Kirk Douglas Hall. Because the feature was light on copy I chose to let the images do the talking. I stuck to a tight grid and used typography to grab the readers attention in the opening spread.
